I remember the Santa Fe use to run a fairly hot auto train mid-morning on the Chillicothe Sub to Oklahoma. Here the McCook, IL, to Oklahoma City, OK, auto train has a "9" symbol, making it hotter today. This train probably had shutdown cars for the plant in OKC? Too bad the power didn't look like it was a priority, which was good for me! Seen just west of Edelstein. Scanned Slide from 12-03-95
