Nevada Northern 401 is a rare locomotive indeed as she was the only SD7 ever purchased new by a shortline railroad. The 401 is still in her original paint scheme after all these years and will hopefully return home to Nevada in the not so distant future. In the meantime, she earns her keep occasionally shuttling coal hoppers around the power plant grounds.
