For some reason train #65 out of Chicago would get alot of the 1st trips for the new power. Back on March 1996, train 65 blast thru Mount Pleasant with a pair of new SD75's heading for Lincoln, NE. These units were some of the 1st red and sliver BNSF stuff being delivered. Stuff looked great in factory fresh paint! The 1st 51 original SD75's delivered to the Santa Fe (ATSF 200-250), were returned to lease. Most of the 2nd delivery of SD75's (BNSF 8251-8301) are still on the BNSF roster, but are mostly stored.
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
