A rare heavy snowfall in North Carolina led to some very interesting photo opportunities for winter scenes normally not seen in the southern states. Here NCDOT's afternoon Piedmont kicks up powder as it passes under the new Lake interlocking in the newly double-tracked portion of NS's Crescent Corridor.
