Remarks & Notes

Rare bird on rare mileage. LRSX 253 is seen crossing Fausett Creek several miles north of Whitestone, Georgia on the former L&N Hook & Eye of Georgia Northeastern. This one and only Morrison Knudsen rebuild is on lease to power the Henkels & McCoy fiber optics train which has been working it's way southward.
