As the morning light spills over the hillsides and onto Acton, Santa Fe 3751 simmers quietly as steam pressure is built in the 1927 Baldwin for the dedication ceremony to officially mark the completion of the new platform at the Acton - Vincent Grade Station. While sitting adjacent to the new platform, the main line is left open to through traffic such as Metrolink 201 seen here pulling in catching the unique shadow of the parked steam locomotive on its nose.
