A former Clinchfield SD40 leads UP Train UELYAD 24 through Air Line Jct. on the KCS Pittsburg Sub. with a couple newer EMD brethren trailing. This is one of the more colorful consists I've seen on the UP in a while.
Unfortunatly the SD40 shut down here at Air Line and the engineer had a tough time getting it restarted. It shut back down almost immediately and was unable to be started again, prompting a visit from UP Mechanical at 23rd Street, and eventually a new lead unit.
