Trouble with the Claremont-Concord locomotive's brakes delayed the BF-1 extra in Claremont Junction, and so the destination was changed from Northfield, MA to North Walpole, NH to await a later shipment southward. The engine has been sold and is traveling via Pan Am Railways to the Berkshire Scenic Railroad in North Adams, MA. It has traded in a life of hauling freight for one of hauling leisurely tourist trips.
