Assaulting the Alleghenies
With a 3 pack of helpers ahead, 25V begins its assault on the east slope out of Altoona. The lead unit began life as Conrail SD50 #6700 and is no stranger to this hill. Today, following a rebuild, this unit now sports an LED headlight as it works the mountain grade on a daily basis. |
