      Remarks & Notes
      Lucky Dog

Bud, who had a spacious cottage at 625 Middle Street in West Brownsville, Pennsylvania, had what railfans would consider to be the perfect location. Situated adjacent to the beginning of the Monongahela Railway’s Ten Mile Run branch, Bud got to witness dozen of empty hopper trains headed to the mines every week, along with the same trains returning laden with black diamonds. Bud routinely witnessed power from, the Monongahela, along with visitors from Conrail, CSX, P&LE, C&NW, and Detroit Edison. It’s the perfect setup, but then again, maybe Bud didn’t like trains.
