Remarks & Notes

Pevlar blue paint and the N&W Hamburger Logo adorn the lead unit on NS Train 297, the Norfolk and Western Heritage Unit.

This shade of blue and logo are right at home at 10th Street on the NS Kansas City District-BNSF Brookfield Sub., for this is former Wabash Property, and the paint scheme the unit wears was adopted after the 1964 N&W-WAB merger.
