| The Union Switch & Signal color light signals protecting the South LaGrange control point have seen a lot in their day. From railroad mergers to new freight equipment like the double stack well car, these signals have seen it all. This Tier 4 GEVO from GE might very well be the last new thing they will see since the tell-tale signs of their replacement are evident in this photo. A shiny new signal bungalow in the background as well as a new signal base on the left indicate that their time is coming to an end shortly. |
