AMTRAK 75 is heading south to Charlotte. It is coming under the old southern intermediate called Glass. This is one of the few southern signals on this part of the Piedmont Division that has not been replaced or has replacements standing near by.
Three north-south routes run through North Carolina. Auto Train comes by, too. Also, the State of North Carolina sponsors the Piedmont service and supports the Carolinian.
