| Glint light shines off this eastbound empty sand train as they blast thru La Plata. La Plata is located at MP 313 on the Marceline Sub in north-central Missouri. It is amazing how many units trains take this hotshot highway. Most think of the Transcon as a intermodal gateway for the BNSF to the west coast, but there is a fair share of unit trains that drag along that makes dispatching this line difficult at times. |
