| A westbound IC freight train has one of everything with the IC/CN era beginning. IC SD40, 4 GTW Geeps, and CCP GP38 thrown in there for good measure. The train is meeting an outbound IC train on the east side of Waterloo. The IC took back the property from the CCP in 1996. The IC slowly started phasing out the geep era on the Iowa lines and 6 axles became more common. Towards the end of 1998 lot of the geeps were stored, or replaced by IC 6 axle SD40's and SD70's. |
