On one of their first runs a beautiful matching set of C40-8W's ATSF 814, 820, 816 head eastbound through Valentine, Arizona. They were nick name the corsair's for their unique roof design for coal loading. I believe they were designed for the your canyon mine on Raton. I don't believe they were hardly ever used for this purpose though.
