At the midnight hour in Kansas City, MO, the Amtrak Super chief disguised as the Santa Fe Super Chief is making its station stop. Led by F3A 301C, four more Fs will assist the 301C in keeping the train on time to L. A. No hint of Amtrak in this image, and who would have known Santa Fe would later disallow the name to be used, thus Amtrak's re-naming to the Southwest Chief.
Huge Album that Includes over 2,600+ photos of classic passenger trains across USA & Canada before and during the time of Amtrak & VIA Rail. More Images will be Added.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
