| Catching the last rays of light on this cool March evening, UP 2617 leads the southbound oil cans toward Paso Robles on their way to Santa Margarita for a date with the San Luis Obispo-based helpers. In the foreground, one of the many trees lining the tracks on this segment of the railroad shows its slow change from bare branches from the winter to the first few bunches of green leaves as winter continues to give way to spring. |
