Carrying bridge traffic moving between Conrail at Rotterdam Jct., NY, and the Maine Central at Portland, ME, Boston & Maine train SEPO-B rolls through Lowell, MA, behind a GP40-2 trio. The modest brick building above the first unit was the city's commuter station at the time, and an MBTA commuter train waits in the distance.
