Amtrak's Pacific International heads north along Samish Bay about 20 minutes south of a station stop at Bellingham, WA on its run from Seattle to Vancouver, BC. During this time the train often featured a former Wabash dome observation car, and during the summer ran along the bay at sunset.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
