| Flintstone Rocks Near MP 96 - [Gorge Ride 2017 Series] -A fissured formation of Tonalite reminiscent of a Flintstones episode lines the right of way between the West Portal of Tunnel 5 and Dubbers Spur near the Jacumba off ramp on Interstate 8.
This type of basalt presentation is very characteristic of the Southern portion of Anza Borego State Park and such scenes are common a long the Desert Line. There are no operating trains on this railroad and the line has been under an embargo order since 2008. |
