| Regional train 6113 from St-Gingolph to Brig with "Domino" RBDe 560 push pull train of RegionAlps is passing the new "Pont des Paluds" bridge over the Rhone, which brings the Simplon line from Lausanne into the canton Valais. The 125 meter long bowstring steel bridge was inaugurated on december 19th 2016, replacing two old single truss bridges from 1903 and 1923 with a span of 70 meters only. |
