Remarks & Notes

The Central of Georgia heritage unit along with NS 4005, one of the special paint DC to AC conversion units, and NS 7027 leads the Montreal to Binghamton mixed freight past the Amtrak station in downtown Schenectady. The taller building in the background is the former Schenectady Gazette printing building. It once was a good newsprint customer. After picking up 36 cars at Saratoga Yard, the 30T has 84 cars. The track in the foreground is the former NYC Water Level Route which is now Amtrak's Hudson Line.
