Remarks & Notes

An annual tradition across several decades was the February "Snow Train" excursion operated out of Boston by the Massachusetts Bay Railroad Enthusiasts. The 1969 edition visited the Boston & Maine's North Conway (NH) branch, where the five-car RDC train posed in front of the town's unique station. Four years later the B&M abandoned this trackage and it is now operated by the Conway Scenic Railroad.
