| The final train leaves Venice Island in the Schuylkill River in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia. The Venice Island Industrial Track would lose its last customer, the PaperWorks corrugated mill, on April 14. East Penn would send the light locomotive back to the mill for temporary storage after this move, but this was the last train with cars to cross the bridge. |
