NS U57, a St. Charles crew based out of the ex-Interstate Railroad's Andover Yard, has just begun loading at the Paragon load out at Kelly View. In earlier years, this track was part of the ex-L&N's Appalachia-Norton Cumberland Valley main line. In 1986, CSX (L&N) constructed a bridge a few miles away in Big Stone Gap in order to access NS and these rails became dormant. After this portion of the CV was initially purchased by a coal company, it was subsequently sold to NS.
