| A Pan Am run through engine leads the East Deerfield, MA to Binghamton to Enola mixed freight past the Amtrak station in downtown Schenectady. The head end of the train has just entered NS trackage while the end of the train is still on CP trackage. The building in the background is the former Schenectady Gazette printing building. It once was a good newsprint customer. The track in the foreground is the former NYC Water Level Route which is now Amtrak's Hudson Line. |
