It's April, and the Long Island Sound beach at Rocky Neck in East Lyme, CT, is empty, but that won't be the case in a couple months. Meanwhile, Amtrak F40PH 309 hurries along with a westbound Northeast Corridor train out of Boston on what the New Haven RR called the Shore Line.
