| 5108 leads DC locos 4058 and 4323 (EMD G22AR rebuilds from G12A.) The DX class was built by General Electric's Erie, PA plant and entered service from 1972. From 1988 the DX class received a series of modifications and, with new motors and Brightstar fitted, were classified DXB. 126 is the only daylight train over the scenic and rustic North Auckland Line beyond Swanson. |
