| Three days prior to this photo, the old US&S color light signal was still protecting this section of track on the former WofA line. While the signal upgrade along the line has been going on since Summer of last year, it was very surprising to see the old signal here replaced so quickly. They didn't even install a new base for this Vader Hood, it's actually standing upon the old 105's base. Today and for the foreseeable future this new Safetran model gives a clear signal to Q619 as the daily freight train heads south towards Auburn. |
