Brightly painted Bay Colony RR Alco S2 1052 leads a fan trip out of Braintree, MA, on the shortline's Plymouth branch, which was freight-only at the time (the MBTA later restored commuter service). The occasion was the joint NRHS/RRE/NMRA convention held in Boston in July 1986.
