A set of Metro North M2 class MUs bound from New Haven to Grand Central approaches the Bridgeport, CT, station, traveling on the viaduct built by the New Haven RR in the early 20th century. The track diverging to the left, now long gone, was once the connection to the ancestral Housatonic RR of the 19th century.
