| "MARC Coaches at HALL Interlocking"
LI Extra 411 heads west through HALL Interlocking with Five Sumitomo/ Nippon Sharyo "MARC II" cars in tow. The train made a test round trip from Jamaica Station to DIVIDE then deadheaded to Port Jefferson Yard for revenue service the next day. The LIRR leased 8 of the cars from MARC to free up their C3 fleet to accommodate extra summer service on the Montauk. |
