| It's a summer tradition! The MTA Long Island Railroad's "Cannonball" remains its sole name train (8717), offering weekly Friday afternoon service to Montauk with a Sunday night return to New York's Penn Station. On the evening of July 2, we catch it in Amagansett, NY (MP 104) with an 8 car consist. The train will make a second run this week to provide supplemental July 4th holiday week service. |
