In 1989, New York Susquehanna & Western was in control of the Delaware & Hudson Railroad and was moving intermodal trains between Binghamton and Buffalo, NY over trackage rights on Conrail's Southern Tier. Trains 252 and 259 are meeting at Linden, NY with SD45 3638 on the eastbound 252 and a friendly crew wave from the 4008 leading westbound 259. Scanned from my K25 slide.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
