BNSF’s Cowley turn traces the Bighorn River as it passes through wonderfully stark Sheep Canyon north of Greybull, Wyoming, on June 22, 2017. This remarkable place is located in the environs surrounding milepost 414 on BNSF’s Casper Subdivision. Leading the local returning to Greybull is a venerable former Burlington Northern SD60M, now BNSF No. 1410.
