A misty rain has fallen in Norton for much of the day. NS U47, with engineer C. R. Thomas at the controls, shuffles loads at the east end of Norton Yard. In fact, C. R. has needed to pull a short distance past the signal at the east end of Norton Yard and pauses at the abandoned loader at Bopar. The track to the right is the connection between the ex-IRR and the ex-N&W in East Norton.
