    Remarks & Notes
PRR had its Truc-Trains and NYC had its Super Vans. In 1970 Penn Central renamed these trains TV or Trail Vans and the symbols remained through the Conrail era. TV-2 was the eastbound fleet leader, departing Chicago at 1900 CST and negotiating Horseshoe Curve early the following afternoon. Soon the breezes will erase the foliage for another year but, for now, it is the most exquisite time of year in the Appalachians.
