| Just as the sun begins to break through the trees, NS 154 leans into one of the many sweeping curves in this area of the Carolinas. Guarding the train's passage through the area are a pair of wayside Southern Railway-era GRS Type-D signals, some of the last of their kind still in service on Norfolk Southern lines. |
