Obviously a former Southern Pacific locomotive, Union Pacific EMD GP40M-2 No. 1481 is in for another overhaul at the railroad’s Jenks Shop at North Little Rock, Arkansas, on May 20, 2015. It will soon emerge fully-repainted in UP colors, complete with a small set of wings on the nose.
