Eastbound NS 22W rolls around the curve approaching the tangent between Ardara and Larimer, Pa. in a winter wonderland. West of Pitcairn Intermodal Terminal, located a couple of miles to the rear, 22W is limited to single stacks. After working Pitcairn, 22W typically continues eastward with a cut a double stacks on the head end. The original PRR main line through Ardara followed the highway in the right background rather than taking a left turn through the cut.
