On a perfect fall afternoon, a pair of Boston & Maine GP39-2s in clean Guilford paint lead train CPED (Newport, VT, to East Deerfield, MA, via CP/B&M) through Greenfield, MA. This runthrough job on the Connecticut River Line would end when CP took over the D&H and rerouted its B&M interchange traffic through New York State.
