No question about the wye – The protect set for weekend service sits on the Montauk Wye on the morning of 7/16/2017, DM30AC 500 facing east. The wye, which is still in service, sits at the railroad west end of the Montauk Station/Yard area. It crosses Industrial Road towards Fort Pond to the south with one of the few unprotected crossings on the LIRR.
