    Remarks & Notes
Rounding High Fill, Georgetown Loop's largest steam locomotive thunders up the steep grades of the former Colorado & Southern line to Silver Plume. Originally built in 1926 for the International Railways of Central America, 111 got upgraded later in life with piston valves, superheaters, and a front-end throttle. Purchased by Don Drawer in the late 1960s, she made a trip north on her own wheels with Lindsey Ashby's #40, before being loaded onto flat cars at the Mexican border, then trucked to Colorado at the US border. Don was never able to rebuild the 111, and eventually it was placed on display in Breckenridge, CO. History Colorado purchased the locomotive in 2007 and it was moved to the Georgetown Loop. An operational restoration took place from 2013-2016, and now her cannon-like exhuast echoes off the walls of Clear Creek Canyon several times per day.
