| From cloudy to blinding light...
An almost hopeless and gloomy day around Darling with slow traffic started to look better as the day went on. With trains getting stuck around Winslow due to single tracking for maintenance of way, this eastbound sat for some time just outside of Winslow yard. Off in the distance was a clear break in the clouds near the horizon, which meant after no sun almost all day I would finally get about a 10 minute window around sunset. No doubt I got some bright sun alright! This long Z train posed until sunset and the sun put on an awesome show thankfully! |
