| Ge 4/4 III # 650 with publicity paint scheme for UNESCO world heritage Albula Bernina is pulling the Regio Express 1129 from Chur to St.Moritz over the 164 meter long Solis viaduct. This is with a hight of 85 meter above the Albula river the second highest bridge of the Rhaetian Railway and the third highest railway bridge in Switzerland. The main span of this viaduct is 42 meter, it was built in 1902 by engineer Hans Studer and has a parabolic bow, new in that time periode. |
