Kuhn's is the name of the spot where the Provo yard merges with the Sharp Subdivision, named after a meat processing plant that formerly stood near the tracks. This end of the yard is used to stage coal drags and local trains, and on this cold February morning was occupied by no less than four trains ready to head out on the Sharp sub.
