| With a steamy start, the pride of the Midwest Central Railroad leaves the station for a one-mile trek around the Midwest Old Threshers showgrounds during the 2016 reunion. Originally built for Virginia's Surrey, Sussex & Southampton Railway in 1891, the locomotive received Southern valve gear before being sold to the famed Argent Lumber Company of South Carolina. The venerable Mogul came to Mount Pleasant in 1960 and has been rebuilt twice. |
