| The heavy fuel oil fired "Mikado" 141 R 1244 (built in 1946 by the Canadian Locomotive Works for the french SNCF) is tackling the 1.1 % grade from D?ttingen towards Siggenthal-Würenlingen with her 7 car train. The "Round the L?gern" trip occured on the occasion of the "Badenfahrt", a large fair which is held every 10 years at Baden. The 2-8-2 with 3000 HP is in immaculate condition like always (note the polished buffer disks as example). |
