    Remarks & Notes
E-44 No. 4405, in Conrail's initial "minimalist" paint scheme with no markings except cab numerals, leads the 4445, which has somehow survived with its yellow Pennsy cab numerals intact nine years after the PRR/NYC merger. These units were built by GE for the PRR in 1961 and 1962, respectively.
